KRATE CEO to Speak at Decentralized 2019.

KRATE’s CEO will be speaking at Decentralized 2019, the premier annual blockchain and digital currency conference in Europe.

Michael Thoreson, CEO and founder of KRATE, has been selected by the Trade Commissioner Service through the Embassy of Canada to the Hellenic Republic to speak at the conference along with two other Canadian speakers. He will be speaking alongside the largest and most well-known influencers in the blockchain space today.

According to event organizers, this year’s conference, hosted in Athens, Greece, “will bring together the world’s leading business executives and academic experts to debate current trends and future developments across three conference tracks.”

Thoreson will be part of the “Business/Technology Track” speakers and will be discussing the illusion of privacy, the importance of self-sovereignty when it comes to data ownership, and how we can apply decentralized blockchain solutions to real-world problems.

The 3rd annual Decentralized conference is organized by the University of Nicosia, which bills itself as the “global leader in blockchain education and research, as well as providers of the world’s first full academic degree in blockchains, the MSc in Digital Currency.”
